Videos are recorded in high resolution 640×480 color to a removable micro SD card that is inserted into the card slot on the side of the camera.
Because videos are recorded to a universal file format (AVI), they can be played back on any computer – PC or Mac – with no special software needed. That being said, we always recommend that our clients download and use VLC Media Player, which is a free media player available at http://www.videolan.org/vlc. This popular video player is packed with features and includes all of the latest video codecs.
As mentioned above, in addition to being able to use this camera as a spy camera or nanny cam, you can also use it as a dash camera. Included in the box is a windshield mount and cigarette lighter adapter, so you can easily have a record of all your driving activities.
