We’ve carried several different models of AC adapter and USB wall charger hidden cameras over the years, and our newest model is by far the best on the market, at an amazing price.
The 1080P Full HD Motion Activated AC Adapter Camera comes in two versions – a self recording version (that records to a memory card), and a WiFi version that connects to your wireless network in your home or business, and allows you to stream live right to your iPhone or Android phone, or even your favorite tablet.
Most adapter cameras feature a “straight out” viewing angle that works well for counter-height viewing, but isn’t ideal for floor-level outlets. This new model solves that by featuring a 15 degree upward viewing angle.
By having the pinhole camera lens facing slightly upwards, it can capture much more of the room within a close range of the camera, which means you can capture faces just a few feet away from the camera:
Unlike many hidden cameras that require a complicated setup, these hidden cameras are ready to go out of the box. The only thing you’ll need is a memory card to record your video. The self-recording version takes up to a 128GB micro SD card, while the WiFi streaming version accepts up to a 64GB card.
USB PortIn addition to working as a hidden camera or nanny cam, the AC Adapter camera also works as a fully functional charger.
On the bottom of the device is a USB port which can be used to charge any standard 5V device, such as your favorite smartphone, included iPhone and Android phones.
Included in the box is a USB to Micro USB cable, but you can use any standard USB cable, including the one that came with your smartphone.
The WiFi streaming version of the new AC adapter camera features HD streaming that will allow you to easily see what’s going on in your home or office while you’re away.
Setting up the camera takes about 5 minutes, and is done right on your smartphone. You’ll simply download the streaming app, type in your camera ID, and select your WiFi network that you’d like it to connect to. For best streaming performance, a broadband connection is required, so if your internt connection is really slow, or you’re still using dial up, the self-recording version is probably a better idea for you.
Once you’ve got the camera up and running, you’ll set up your username and password, which will ensure that no one has access to your video feed (unless you give them your login details. You can add up as many cameras as you want, and can control and view them all right within the same app:
This will allow you to easily monitor multiple rooms at once. You can even add cameras from different locations, such as one in your home, one at your vacation house, and one at your office – all from the same app!
Unlike many streaming home security cameras, there are never any monthly fees to view, stream or record your video. This can save you up to $200 per year per camera! You can stream on as many devices as you want, and record right to a memory card hidden inside the back of the adapter.
