Bought this to put in a car but it recorder all the time. Contacted the company and they said it's technically "sound" activated and something like road noise would activate. Not a huge deal but wish it had a way to just record voices but they said that really isn't possible.
Definitely works. But you have to make sure there's no background noise (e.g. a computer humming, or subway etc) else you can't capture sound properly. The voice activation thing is a bit iffy. Not sure when it actually triggers as I end up with 40 files throughout the day and I can't hear anything for any of them. Maybe by the time the recording turns on, the conversation is over.
Very sensitive in voice activation mode. Files are appropriate length and there are no wasted recordings if nothing is happening.
Great product. Try and place it on a table or under a sofa or shelf or something stationary. If you put it in your pocket it captures all the audio from your clothes moving and muffles the conversation.
