    Just like it's predecessor, the VR95 features a high quality microphone built into an ordinary looking (and fully functional) USB flash drive, but it has several impressive upgrades. The internal battery has been upgraded to give you up to 24 hours of continuous recording, with 25 days of standby battery life in voice activation mode.

    The voice recorder flash drive now comes in matte-black finish, and the internal memory has doubled to 8GB, allowing you to store up to 288 hours of audio recordings, or to take your important files and documents with you, just like a traditional flash drive.

    Choose between two recording modes - voice activated or continuous recording. To start recording, simply rotate the dial on the end of the flash drive to your desired recording mode. In voice-activation mode, the recorder will only record when audio is detected nearby, while in continuous recording mode, it will record continuously until you turn it off, or until the battery is exhausted. 

    We've added one more feature to the VR95 - the ability to set a time and date stamp to your recordings (PC only). Now you'll know exactly when files are recorded, a convenience not found on most other flash drive recorders.

      Sorry for the difficulty you had using the flash drive recorder. To listen to the playback, please connect the flash drive to your computer's USB port. There will be a folder on the drive called VOICE that contains all your recorded audio files. From there, just double click on the files to play. We recommend using VLC Media Player for playback. If you have any other questions or issues please contact our tech support team so we can assist you further.

      Outstanding audio quality, short battery life

      I bought this for some private investigation work, basically as a wireless audio bug. Stick a small piece of velcro tape on it and it can be easily concealed virtually anywhere with easy removal and replacement.

      The audio quality is absolutely incredible for being such a tiny device with nothing but a pinhole mic. With minor audio enhancement, you can still understand conversation in a totally different room. In the same room, I could literally hear the carpet squishing as people walked through the room.

      Don't even think about missing out on something due to it not being sensitive enough. I literally records every time an airplane flys over the house. You WILL HEAR EVERYTHING!

      The downside is that the battery life is enormously overrated. Having used this multiple times now, I get 3 days on average in voice activated mode. It's an 8 gig stick, but only 500mb of audio before the battery is dead. If there was a way to plug it into an external USB battery, that would be awesome, but I don't think it will record will charging because a computer won't detect it until you turn it off.

      The battery limitation aside, I would still buy it again. It's a very impressive little device.
