More Frequently Asked Questions about TASER guns:
Why do I need a background check?
Before we can ship your new Taser, the manufacturer requires that we perform a background check. This is to check for a felony record, as TASER products cannot be shipped to persons convicted of a felony. The background check usually takes less than 24 hours to complete, and the cost of the background check is included in the price of the Taser.
If you do not pass the background check, we will issue a full refund of your purchase price.
How long do the air cartridges last?
When not in use, the regular air cartridge can last for up to 5 years. After non-use for 5 years, it is recommended to purchase a replacement cartridge. The Digital Power Cartridge for the Taser X26C can last up to 10 years.
