We've upgraded our popular electrical outlet hidden camera so that it now streams live HD video directly to your smartphone, allowing you to monitor your home or office live from anywhere in the world.
This live streaming camera is built into an ordinary outlet receptacle, allowing you to place it in any room in your home or office. And because outlets are so common, no one will give it a second glance.
To set up the camera, simply connect it to your existing electrical wiring in your home or office - for ease of installation we recommend replacing an existing outlet. We recommend professional installation by a licensed electrician if you are not familiar or comfortable doing this - it should take less than 10 minutes to install, and you'll never have to worry about battery life as this device operates 24/7.
Once you've got the outlet installed in the wall, you'll download our live streaming app, and use it to connect the camera to your home's existing wireless network. You'll then be able to live stream your video to your favorite smartphone (iPhone or Android) and watch it from anywhere in the world. You can even get motion detection alerts to notify you if the camera detects movement, perfect for home or business security.
In addition to live streaming video, you can also record video to a hidden micro SD card, so you can see what happens even if you didn't see it happen live. Download the videos remotely to your smartphone to view recorded videos, or remove the memory card and insert into your PC or Mac computer for playback.

Live streaming app is easy to use, viewing angle is good, quality is good (the app default is 720, which is good, but when you set it up, click the video quality button to change it to 1080 for a slightly better image). Overall we're happy with the camera and would buy again.
We are a non profit and have a specifc area that has had some theft. This camera worked great for us, it doesn't have night vision though so if you need that then this might not be the one for you.
I've played aroudn with a lot of these types of devices and so far this is one of my favorites. Definitely more expensive than some of the direct from China types, but I'm glad we got it.

A few tips in getting this thing set up. First, the best thing to do is as the instructions say, to replace an existing outlet if possible. This is because the wires are already run to the spot so the install is super easy. Just disconnect the existing outlet, then reconnect this one. If you're not familiar with this it's not hard, but make sure you turn off the circuit breaker to the outlet first. Other than that setting up the camera part is easy and takes a few minutes with the Pro iCam app. Video quality is great.
