Yes you can set up the camera to record motion activated or continuous video to a micro SD card in addition to live streaming. You can download the recorded videos to your smartphone for playback, or copy them over to your PC or Mac computer to view or save.

Q. How do the motion detection alerts?

Motion detection alerts will notify you on your iPhone or Android phone if motion is detected. You can adjust the sensitivity, alert frequency, and even schedule when alerts take place (ie. just during the day when you're at work).

This camera streams to iPhone and Android devices only - it does not include the ability to stream to your computer.

Got this camera a week ago and so far everything is working. It records audio and video even though it doesn't state audio but it does do both. Activity alerts are the best feature of this cam because you'll know the second someone walks in your house.
